My Notes will not open in OneNote Web App any more. Microsoft is forces you to buy the OneNote App. The NOTES came with it on my phone, but wehn you try to open after logging in to my live account, it wont work. you have to buy the full version. It was working for a few months, but not now.

I am using the "App Preview" but it doesn't work for some notes.

When open such a note I always get:

Microsoft OneNote Web App

Sorry, we ran into a problem

How can I disable the "App Preview" and using the old Web App which worked for me?

Another late response but heck; I'm an "late adapter" :-)

I am /very/ sceptical with online applications. Not so much regarding the applications but the data. Better put: /my/ data. My data sits on your storage space and thus raises the question "what is happening with it and how well is it protected (esp. given the recent events (unfair for this thread; as said I'm falling in late)). Sure it should safe to use, after all; I get what I paid for. But, errr... I didn't pay you guys zip :-)

So far the critical / sceptical part. I am reluctant with using this to be honest.

But having said that I think it /is/ a heck of an achievement. I just tried to create a OneNote notebook while in my Hotmail mailbox and it. just. works. Next stop is to see how well this works with SeaMonkey (used to have firefox but no more, risking to get a different interface layout every 3 months? yeah right!) but I am impressed here.

Android support? The only way I see that happening is when someone open minded enough will actually /look/ at MS Office (or the webapps) and see what it can do. Having used OpenOffice myself for the past 7 - 8 years or so I don't see that happening anytime soon (for whats it worth). Because personally I would have expected something like OneNote to be added to OpenOffice years ago.

I have office student and windows ultimate 7 and can't sync. It keeps telling me that I need admin status regardless of my starting One note as an Administrator???

Please help

I don't believe that in the web version, I cannot search for notes. This is the main reason that I switched to Evernote. The web interface, speed and easy to find the things is far superior. But, the desktop version of OneNote is superb, but the web one sucks... My wish is one day Microsoft realize the Customer needs fast as they need.

if you could somehow make a tag (like outlook tag) that would cross-link to a sharepoint task it would make onenote the best project management software ever. It's close as is anyway.

The web access doesn't work with Android's browser. It won't even try to open the program, it just offers a download button.

I've been waiting for a long time for this news. I've been holding back on exploring the features of Windows Live but this move has definitely influenced me to give it a try. Thanks so much for releasing this!
