I keep "lists of lists" in various notebooks and so happy I've finally found a tool to keep everything and anything in one location. I can't wait to get everyone on board at work to use it as well. Our fabulous trainer says OneNote is also integratable with Sharepoint 2010, which is also amazing.

Wwhen I started, I had a few notebooks already set up for me to fill and one of them was called "OneNote 2007 Guide.". The notebooks were shown as tabs going up along the left side of the window, and after selecting a notebook, the Sections of it were shows as tabs going across the top of the Page window. I have been having a great time like all day just creating my pages, and notebooks, and sections, and pages, and being ASS as heck, jumping back and forth between "To do," and "Recipes," in my Personal Notebook to the "Shopping" in the Work notebook,. I spent a lot of time just familiarizing myself with the whole set up and just bubbling over with more and more ideas of what I can use OneNote for when all of the sudden, all my notebooks, and all my sections disappeared and I was looking at nothing but one page! How do I get all my tabs back and keep it that way? I went to "Open", selected all the notebooks I have and opened them, and it warned me that by doing that I was making it so the notebooks would no longer show in the Navigation bar. Right now, I don't even SEE the navigation bar. Ithe one with file, edit, open, etc, isn't it? So I did it anyways because I have looked through the menus the toolbars and their custimizing options have to offer and I don't know how to make it go back to how it was before. It didn't work. I just fpound myself looking at a page from one of my newly created notebooks and the only button that sent me to any other part of it was the Next Page button. I don't like it like this at all! I want to have all my pages and sections and notebooks there for me to see like it was in the beginning, and I want it to stay that way! Please help me!! I've been so, SO excited about my new OneNote Notebooks, and now I'm totally stuck and it brings my creativity to a stand-still when I don't have the tabs, and don't have the freedom to bounce around between all of them at the click of a button! Thank you so much..

So many things that used to require training are now so intuitive. This application will help our students and staff migrate from paper to electronic ages.

This is MS on the the right track.
