Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays. But I'm constantly thinking, "There’s got to be a better way to keep track of the chaos!" To that end, let me demonstrate how OneNote 2010 can help you manage your holiday madness. All you need to get started is a free Windows Live SkyDrive account and a shared notebook that you can access from multiple computers (and your smartphone) and share with friends and family.

My favorite comments on the OneNote Blog are the ones that give me a glimpse into the interesting and creative ways my readers use OneNote to manage their busy lives. On occasion, some of those comments have crossed over into requests for technical support. While I genuinely try to find answers to such questions, the reality is that I can't always guarantee a quick solution, especially when the issue involves a specific setup or it's something that I haven't seen before.
We've built a pretty good support forum for these kinds of questions, so if you've never heard of it or you could use a reminder, read my full blog post to find out where you can get help from the experts and from other OneNote users like you!

Earlier in the year, Jennifer Bost and Michael Oldenburg, two Office.com bloggers, took a road trip to Canada to video tape how a high school teacher was using OneNote in the classroom.
To plan for the adventure, they captured all of their research, trip details, and video storyboarding in a shared notebook.
Jennifer Bost writes today's blog post describing their process and how they used OneNote to help them collaborate on this project.
Hosting your organization's OneNote notebooks in a SharePoint document library offers the advantages of organizing them in one location, and the flexibility to decide who can access them through setting permissions. The job of creating a library and configuring permissions usually falls on the shoulders of the SharePoint site administrator. This post shows you how to perform both tasks.
In response to customer feedback that many of you have reported on the OneNote forums on Microsoft Answers in the past months, the OneNote development team has released a free update for the desktop client version of Microsoft OneNote 2010. In the midst of the holidays (and all the travel and family obligations that come with them), there's something else that looms overhead for students: That nagging exam schedule.
Even in times of stress, we humans tend to stick with what we know and don't always know how to help ourselves. For this reason, we decided to cull the collective knowledge of the Web — and also do a little cold calling of professors on behalf of our student readers — to gather the best advice for studying and preparing for exams. We also sprinkled a little OneNote wisdom on top.

There's a new video available on our OneNote 2010 Beta Documentation site that explains in about 90 seconds how easy it is to learn and use OneNote's organizational features.
The video is fast becoming our most popular Beta content so far. If you know someone who's new to OneNote or still getting started with it, please share this video with them. The response to it has been overwhelmingly positive — from newbies and loyal users alike. If you like it, too, please consider leaving some feedback about it.
