    Optional OneNote 2010 update now available In response to some feature and performance issues that some of our users had reported on the OneNote 2010 forum on the Microsoft Answers site, the development team has released an update for the full version of Microsoft OneNote 2010. It improves the display of search results and inserted documents, and it improves Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and indexing features in OneNote 2010.

    Meet Hobie Henning, an engineering student who loves to tinker with his computers, run his own website, and work part-time for his school's IT Help Desk.

    Hobie first discovered Microsoft OneNote on a fellow student's PC. He played around with the program for a bit and right away appreciated the great combination of features that make it a perfect companion for schoolwork. After he spent nearly three years typing out his notes in Word and then saving them to individual files, Hobie realized that his 1998 method of taking notes needed an update.
