&lt;p&gt;Note, however, that the ability to connect to SQL Azure databases outside of the browser-based interface is not currently enabled in Office 365 Preview. We expect to enable this feature when the final version is released. If you want to try it out, you can do so by setting up your own copy of SharePoint 2013 and SQL Server 2012.&lt;/p&gt;
