Lists unlimited: let users add new values

It happens all the time: there's a list of choices but it doesn't have the choice you want. 

No worries! You can enable folks to add items to a lookup field.

I've listed below some relevant tips from the community and the main MSDN topic on the subject.  

• Justin Ferrel offers a how-to on using VBA to add a new value to a combo box's data source.
• Allen Browne has this advice on adding items to a lookup field - excellent as always.
• "Remster" on accessforums.net has worked out a way to combine input validation with adding a list item.
• MSDN offers help using the NotInList ComboBox event.
