Power Tip: Experiment with dynamic event callbacks

See more "seat belt" images on office.com/imagesAccess Power Tipster Joel Graff has been refining his Composite Control Object Model, which he first blogged about last August. Joel has now created a CodePlex site where you can download and experiment with his demo, and he has posted the details on his blog.

Here's an excerpt:

"...some of the most useful and valuable things I own are things that I’ve repurposed. That’s why I love VBA. I’ve used it to find unique ways to solve problems, work around software limitations, and otherwise get Microsoft Office to do things that I very much suspect it’s not supposed to do. In short, VBA is how I repurpose Office, particularly Access."

Thanks Joel!

  • As opposed to what used to happen with the former Access Blog, I don't receive notifications anymore when a new blog thread such as this one is started and this in spite of the fact the SEND NOTIFICATIONS setting is enabled in my Site Options page.

  • Hi grovelli, we are having some problems getting the email notification feature to work. We are working on that problem, and recommend just using the RSS feed for now (although we know that may not be quite as convenient as emails).

    Thanks,

    Chris
