A really cracy way to bring a access db in the web. Converting from Acccess to ASP/Java/Lists/... and reconvert back to edit. Oh no! If you have a little more complex App, with much VBA?? How can i access a DB over the Web? Is it not possible to have a local Frontend and a Backend DB in the Web with a useable performance. (Data Compressing or Client/Server Logic). So every Access DB could be used over the WEB - without Converting? Access needs no app on the Server, so it is much easier as a solution with SQL Server.
@Klaus You can have an app that's more complex with VBA and publish it to SharePoint (As long as the tables are compatibile with SharePoint). The forms/reports will NOT render (be viewed) in the browser but can be run from the Access Rich Client connected to SharePoint.
Is it possible to link tables as in Access 2007 in Access 2010 with Sharepoint 2007?
Good video tutorial on what's new. Starts out slow but really takes off!
@compatibility with sp 2007 Yes you can still create linked tables in Access 2010 to SharePoint 2007
Do we need to be running SharePoint 2010 to leverage all the web app functioality of Access 2010? How about SharePoint 2007?
I can't see anything! - Where is the video?
