Great video. Very well done. There is so many different kinds of Access users from beginner to advanced. It was real nice to hear someone from the Access team who lives in those caves underground Redmond tell us that many Access users are actually real developers. I am trying to transfer a worksheet in Excel to Access. I have done that but the problem is one of the columns are address and in some cases the address is a double (ex. 415-417). It shows up in access as Num! How can I fix that? I have tried formatting the cell in excel but that didn't work. I am lost here. Can someone help me?
Cindy Did you do a cut + paste? Or was this an actual Access import? I would suggest you try importing the data (as opposed to cut + paste). The import wizard should give you a chance to import the column as text. Also, this blog is not really setup as a help form. Try the above idea.
