Mike Hnatt has generously extended to the Access blog readers a FREE version of Gladstone’s Access Report Writer. Traditionally, he has sold the developer version of the wizard for $995. The offer includes unlimited computer licenses, ability to change report header and page footers, source code, and royalty-free distribution for your application. One of the best things about the wizard is it is re-entrant. You can learn more about the report wizard here.
Here are a few screen shots:

This is his way to say ‘thanks’ to the Access community. I want to say THANKS back to Mike for the generous offer to the community!

Thank you very much Mike! ARW looks like a fantastic product.
Brilliant work by a brilliant guy!
(and I might add one of the nicest guys on the planet too)
Great stuff Mike.
Thanks for your incredibly generous offer, Mike. One note about using the wizard in Access 2007, I had to set a reference to ADO. So far the product works beautifully.
We've used Mike's Report Wizard for years and were the first user after his own software. It's incredibly powerful for the "power users" and easy-to-use for the end users. It is easily implemented by importing in the pieces and a 5 minute setup.
Even after I've downloaded it, I still can't believe that such a great product is given away free. Thank you so much for your generosity!!
Thank you very much for such a great and valuable product!
Yikes! My site is taking quite a load ;) You are all welcome. Thanks for all the nice comments and glad I could help out!
Thank you very much ( from France )
A ton of thanks for your generosity, Mike and Gladstone! (from Brazil)
I can't download this! I get a page with a 'Choose a Product' list box, choose 'ARW Developer Edition for Access 2000 and Newer', and nothing happens. (JavaScript is enabled). What's wrong?
Many thank's for this software, it's work perfectly for label, but with "Normal Report" when i click on "Finish" i have a msgbox error 2465 "Box0 missing" ?
@John
Try using the latest builds of IE, Chrome, or FF. Go under Tools>>Options and restore the default settings of your browser and try again. @Robert
First try running the ARW native (without importing into your own app). Then work from there. What step of the Instal Guide can you not reach? The install guide is here: www.gladstonesolutions.com/arwinstall.pdf -Mike
Thanks a million, Mike! Truly a generous offer...and a reflection of your fantastic commitment to the MS Access community.
Thanks Mike Hnatt!
I downloaded the ARW and it's awesome. However I'm using it in Access 2007 and the groups do not get created on the report. Is this a known issue? Any help will be appreciated.
@JC Grouping works fine in all versions (including Access 2007). Send me a screenshot w/relevant info and I'll check it for you. -Mike
