I’d like to take this opportunity to announce a new feature of the blog, which some of you might have noticed already. Our Content Publishing team has begun collecting “Power Tips” from members of the Access community, including the product team, Access MVPs, user group members, and other Access enthusiasts. Power Tips are intermediate-level “How-to” tips that you can use to enhance your Access applications, without having to dive too deep into programming. We hope they’ll be valuable to those of you who feel pretty proficient with Access, but who don’t consider yourselves seasoned developers (yet).
We have already tagged a number of past posts with the Power Tips tag, so you can start following this feature today by clicking the tag on the right side of this page. You can even set up an RSS feed for just that tag, if you want.
Enjoy!

Clint, When is the right time you will address/answer (Press Release) all the developer's concerns? like Runtime distribution, killer UI like DevExpress and others...Is the Runtime distribution issue solved in Access 14? Thanks, ERwin
I expect to start talking about 14 this summer. Cheers.
Clint, Thanks and we are expecting and highly appreciated your prompt response. You know...we as a hardcore MSAccess developers are not losing hope, because we know deep in our heart that MSAccess is a serious developer tool next to none... Note: the name of this site/blog..MS ACCESS DEVELOPER PORTAL...that is why we are looking forward that the needs of MSAccess Serious developers will be attended soon.. Clint, if you dont mind...is there a politics inside MS? If MS will not improve Ms Access, Why not copy the Forms and reporting technology to VS.NET or the other way around..Why not make the MS ACCESS Finish App Deployment like VS.NET or much better..We all know that MS Access Rushmore Tech was copied from Visual FoxPRO why not make the deployment of MS ACCESS LIKE Visual FoxPRo? thanks,
ERwin
Erwin - MS is not really going anywhere with Access. Sharepoint is where it's at for those guys (and LAMP for everyone else). It's being run into the ground.
Ok, FoxPro please come back!. Microsoft, we forgive you...
Minton, Hi...quite some time ago, i started also to explore some of the db development tool and programming languages..I code in vb,vb.net and supporting some of my old apps in DELPHI ..But I love Access too its very productive as a frontEnd tool. I compiled the Runtime to a single EXE using Thinstall to avoid the hassle of deployment. By the way, brother Minton can you share also some of your ideas. What is the best db devt tool you are recommending very near to Ms access functionality. Thanks
