Please note, I haven't personally used Ribbon Creator and this post is not an official endorsement. From what I have read it does look like a useful tool.

Unless it can completely suppress the Ribbon it is of no use to me. (vbg)
Tools such as this are a great help to ease the customization of the Ribbon.
It took me a little bit of efforts to implement my own callbacks so that I could manipulate the ribbon and make content visible or enabled depending on which user was logged into my application, but it makes for a very clean and intuitive interface and it makes the the whole application a lot more professional.
You wouldn't really know it's actually running Access if it wasn't for the logo in the status bar of the Runtime. What is a disappointment though is the lack of support (or at least documentation) to implement contextual menus in Access 2007.
That's really quite annoying actually.
Is there any way to implement them?
If yes, are there any examples that show how this works in Access 2007?
what i will really learn is how to load the ribbon on demand, instead of loading the ribbon with opwn forms. and how can i add context menu items to my access apps, on rght cick og forms, without documentation.
Pls, remove Ribbon from Office. Or, at least, enable the standard menu. I'm staying with Access 2002 until ribbon is removed and database window is enabled.
We have now officially dropped Office/Access development beyond Access 2003. This is because 99% of our clients (that have seen Office 2007) hate the Ribbon and have upgraded to Office 2003. BTW There is nothing else that was added that was worth the time of installing the software. Office 2007 will go down in history as another Access 95.
Hello, We will only use Access 2003 for development, signing and deployment. Access 2007 is in it's box on the shelf and will remain there. Garry
