The Office 2007 preview site is now up, with a number of materials on Access available and the ability to sign up for the Office beta program. To sign up for the beta, follow this link and then click on the "Register Now" button at the top.
I'm back from Access Advisor and I'll have a post on the new Forms Designer for you tomorrow.

I have a few comments regarding the Product Guide. There is an extra page break in the Create and Adapt Reports section. There is an extra page break in the Web Collaboration section. I found the "In Action" pieces to be disruptive, they seem to be completely out of context for the section of the doc they are displayed in. There is some information that is not quite clear in which capabilities are available only if you are running this through SharePoint and can Share Point actually recover a deleted record? I know we keep pounding you on the developer view point but in the FAQ the part that talks about Who Access 2007 is for ... nope we are never mentioned. In fact the entire marketing approach is that you do not need developers at all :-( Steve
Thanks for the feedback, we'll be tweaking the material before we ship (you'll notice the ribbons are different than the ones I'm showing on the blog, for example). On the developer marketing front, this is the broad marketing story for the product, and there will be a separate set of marketing directed at developers. The two communities are reasonably distinct, allowing us to message the product differently to both communities. As for the "don't need developers" pitch, that's always been part of Access's appeal - you can do lots without being a developer. Of course if you are a developer, you can do lots more!
I'm thinking it would be nice to include the last bit into the User set of marketing. Access is not only easy to use but is also a powerful development platform so applications created by users can be extended by developers, leveraging the existing functionality while still providing RAD for developers. I bet you could get someone to gussey that up some :-)
RE StevBe's Post above
I couldn't agree more! It would be nice for MS to actually publicly promote the Access Development community. and let people know that with a little help Access can do so much more Go Steve!
Finally got a chance to watch the video - ow! Somebody get the effects person away from any future videos! I love all the work you guys are doing on Office 2007. It's very impressive. And I liked the actual video parts of the demo. But the marketing talk and effects every 1/2 second combined to make my eyes glaze over by the end of the video. Please try and get this feedback to whoever makes those videos, and get marketing to tone it down and make a more "real" video. That thing will just confuse and lose potential customers' attention. Just my two cents. :)
I actually really enjoyed the demo and I also think that including the "Office Access 2007 in Action" section in the AccessGuide.doc was a nice touch.
