Sorry but the slow response to all the comments on security. I ended up out of town for most of last week and had way less time to work on this than I expected. We're finishing up a summary answer to the questions & comments and should have that posted by EOD tomorrow.
I've realized I've not yet given an overview of Access 12, so after the follow-up to the security post, I'll be whipping up an overview, and we can start to look at all the new work. Thanks for your patience, and again, sorry to have fallen off the face of the earth.

Thanks for the update, Erik. We were organizing a search party. Good of you to do this blog.
I'm looking forward to the overview of the changes! And thanks for letting us know our patience will pay off... :)
Speaking of falling off the face of the earth, what happened to Andrew Miller's Access blog? blogs.msdn.com/andrewrmiller It was there a few days ago (not that it was being updated), now it isn't.
Not sure where Andrew's blog ended up, I'll send him some mail on that. It stopped getting updated simply due to time - he's got the same crunch I do but worse and he simply needs to be heads down getting the project finished right now. We're in good shape, but that couple of extra hours a week can go into lots of polish. At this part of the project cycle, I'm easier to cut loose.
Admit it! They've locked you out of the office!!
