For more "speed" images, visit office.com/imagesSpeed Launch, a free downloadable program from Office labs, was created by people who wanted to explore ways to provide faster access to the stuff people use most—"stuff" being programs, files, folders, web pages, etc. With Speed Launch, you can simply drag any file, document, or website URL into the Speed Launch bull’s eye on your desktop and tag it with any name you want. Then, any time you need it again, you can just go through the bull’s eye, type or click on the name, and there it is.  A totally customizable grouping of what you use the most.

It seems simple, doesn't it? Well it is, and for me, that's part of the beauty of it. It downloads quickly and you get started quickly. That being said, you can also create more complex things for it to do. For example, you can create functions and compound functions using Speed Launch. Don't know what those are?  It's quite the convenient little program, I must say.

Download Speed Launch (Note that although the requirements list Windows Vista or Windows XP SP2 with .Net Framework 3.0—that's a mouthful—I tested it on my Windows 7 machine and it works just dandy.)

Oh, I also found this blog post which I found helpful if you have questions.

"Scientists tell us that the fastest animal on earth, with a top speed of 120 feet per second, is a cow that has been dropped out of a helicopter." — Dave Barry
