Alrighty, my point:

Cheese (and other extras) at this particular restaurant were free, and the hungry patrons who didn't even KNOW that they wanted cheese were thrilled to have it once it appeared on their plates. What could be better than something warm, gooey, and...free? So this week, I'm serving up some delicious third-party add-ins, spicy utilities, and other toothsome tools that are *free* and can most definitely raise your satisfaction levels.

Free signToday's free extra: the Ghost Meeting Power Toy. And what is it? Consider your work life: You have multiple meetings requests and you simply can't promise to attend them all. This free "toy" lets you quickly copy meeting details into a private appointment when declining a meeting request, thereby creating a “ghost” that you can keep on your own calendar for your own use. Great for keeping track of juniors’ meetings or keeping time blocked out just in case!

(Note: It only works with Outlook 2007 but I hear that the company, Fortis Software,is working on a version for 2010.)

Tomorrow's free cheese: A debt reduction calculator from Vertex42 for Excel.
