Did you know that it's easy to create a bibliography based on common citation formats in Microsoft Word?
A few months ago, we were asking students about how they write a research paper. Jon, a freshman at a local community college, had just completed a huge term paper that counted for a large percentage of his overall grade in a class. While describing how he wrote this paper, he told me he hated writing bibliographies because he couldn't remember the proper format for citing sources. This morning, we reached an important development milestone: the beginning of the "Office 15" Technical Preview Program. Office 15 is the codename for the next generation of the Microsoft Office products and services, and the Technical Preview is the first time we share our work with a select group of customers under non-disclosure agreements. These customers play a key role in our development process by testing early builds and providing feedback, which we incorporate into the final release.
Effective immediately, we have changed the Office 2013 retail license agreement to allow customers to transfer the software from one computer to another. We made this decision based on feedback from our customers who asked for additional flexibility in this area.
Just last week we introduced a new personal email service called Outlook.com. In a previous post, we described how to upgrade from Hotmail to Outlook.com. Today, Dick Craddock, who runs the Program Management Team for Outlook.com, shows you how to upgrade from Gmail to Outlook.
