Office 365 news round-up

OneNote is one of the great apps you get with your Office 365 subscription. OneNote lets you capture your ideas, write, sketch or type your thoughts, and easily organize everything in one place. You can even clip links and web pages, insert photos and videos, embed tables and attach files.

During the past two weeks, we made OneNote even better, adding four major updates to OneNote for Mac, OneNote for iPad and OneNote for iPhone, and making One Note available for Kindle Fire and the new Fire phone from Amazon. We also highlighted a very useful existing feature—the Insert Space tool—that lets you easily split the body of your notes and insert additional space so you can add new text or drawings. Just one more way that OneNote is better than paper.

But OneNote isn’t the only thing we’ve been focusing on lately. We also added several highly requested features to Office for iPad, launched Office 365 Development Patterns and Practices to help developers build business solutions on Office 365, and provided new tools to help Office 365 administrators stay informed and more easily manage cloud services, client devices and cloud IT environments.

Below is a round-up of some key news items from the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!
