With the back-to-school season upon us, it’s time for parents and students to start thinking about what they need to make this year the best yet. And while tools for schools have changed since I–er, most of us–were in school, it’s technology that is playing a central role in today’s classroom. This is why it’s so important that kids are set up for success, whether it’s note taking, presenting ideas and information, or being able to share their work and collaborate from virtually anywhere.
According to a recent back-to-school survey, more than 9 in 10 parents say teachers expect kids to have access to technology software and online tools to complete work outside the classroom. Take a look at this infographic for more interesting “Then vs. Now” back-to-school survey findings.
To help celebrate this back-to-school season, and put the latest technology in the hands of parents and kids, Office is putting the “back” in “back to school” by kicking off a fun (and nostalgic) sweepstakes with the help of famed actress, author and mom, Ali Larter.
