Introducing the new Visio website

We’ve appreciated the reception of the new Visio, including the great feedback from early adopters around the ease of use improvements and the ability to work as a team on a single diagram simultaneously.

One piece of feedback we’ve heard loudly and clearly recently is that it would be great to have a single place to find out information about the new Visio.

And, here it is: the new Visio website - your single source for information about the new Visio, including top features, edition descriptions, and information on how to purchase.

Visio is also now available as an additional product in the Office 365 family. Visio Pro for Office 365 delivers the same features as Visio Professional as a subscription and is available to purchase as part of Office 365.

We would like to thank our customers, partners, and Most Valuable Professionals for the feedback received during the product development process, which greatly contributed to a strong Visio release. Please keep the feedback coming – the Visio team welcomes and reviews all your comments! Subscribe to our RSS feed in your favorite reader (such as Outlook) to be notified of new posts.

  1. Did the Visio MVP How To videos get lost in the shuffle?

  2. I was waiting to buy Office 365 Home Premium together with Visio Pro for Office 365, and also Project Pro for Office 365, after using the Preview editions for six months now. But just when I was ready and glad to do it, I discover that Visio and Project are not available to purchase from customers in Brazil. (Office 365 business editions also aren’t available in Brazil yet.) It’s a shame that Microsoft treat us Brazilian IT professionals (and enterprises) as second-class customers.

You say Visio Pro is available as part of Office 365, but I can’t find any Office 365 suite that includes Visio? Has this been released? Soon?

  4. Where is Visio for Office 365 Home Premium customers? Thanks.

  5. I purchased Visio … but it won’t install on my machine and the tech support at Microsoft told me that i need to get to Premium (Paid) support to install the app very first time. I already have the office pro 2013 installed

part of me is disappointed …
