Microsoft sets Seton Hall students up for success in tomorrow’s workplace

Last month, we launched Office 365 for education and announced that a number of top universities are embracing the service, including Dartmouth College, Cornell University and Gonzaga University. Today, the trend continues as another prestigious school has joined the Office 365 family – Seton Hall University.

Seton Hall University and Microsoft announced a partnership that will deliver Windows 8, Windows Phone-based Nokia Lumia 900s and Office 365 for education into the hands of its incoming freshman class and returning juniors this fall. The goal is to help students be on the cutting edge of technology to not only succeed as students, but thrive in the future workplace. With Office 365 for education, Seton Hall’s student body of over 10,000 in addition to its faculty can communicate and collaborate using the familiar Microsoft Office tools anytime, anywhere, with anyone while on any device. Steven Landry, CIO of Seton Hall University adds, “I’m able to bring all of those pieces together to give me one seamless experience that offers me the ability to be productive no matter which device I’m working on at any given time”. We couldn’t say it better ourselves.
