Sometimes there’s more than one way to get what you want. Take check marks, for example. In Excel, you have several options:
- You can use conditional formatting to display a list of binary values as green check marks or red Xs.
- If you want people to be able to check or uncheck a box, you can add a check box.
- To type a check mark inside a cell (not a check box), you can insert a check mark symbol.
